PREMIER LIGHTING PACKAGE
Our premier lighting package combines uplighting, moving heads, uplit totem columns and led light sticks. Moving heads are lights that sit atop the totem columns and use a motorized head to move beams of light around the room. It’s the type of lighting you see at major shows, as it creates a great party atmosphere. All these elements combined allow you to design an elegant, customized lighting landscape…and one amazing party. All our lights can be set to whatever colors you want, and like uplighting, can be set to a solid color to create your desired ambience early in the evening…then move to the beat of the music during dancing. UPLIGHTING
Uplighting is lighting that shoots “up” a wall, column, tree, etc. It creates a great ambience anywhere it’s used. We can set the color to whatever you want. Before dancing, it can be used to set an elegant mood for introductions & dinner. During dancing, it can be set to blink to the beat of the music at whatever color you want, or range of colors. That creates an incredibly fun vibe during dancing. Uplighting is also used often to accent certain areas, or to provide additional light to poorly lit areas. Whatever the usage, uplighting adds to the feel of your event. And since colors and lighting evoke emotions, uplighting is 2nd only to photo booths when it comes to enhancements. MONOGRAM LIGHTING
A monogram light is a a custom projection on a wall or floor. We’ll get with you to choose your custom monogram design that you want. Common designs usually involve initials, first or last names with a date, a company logo, etc. The design is made on a metal or glass plate, referred to as a “gobo,” which is then placed in a light machine to create the design lit up in your space. Most commonly you’ll find it placed on a wall or the floor. See the media below for examples.
STANDARD LIGHTING
Standard lighting is included with every booking. We often refer to it as “dance floor lighting.” We will provide a “T-Bar” (a light stand shaped like a T) that holds 4 lights. Those lights will fill your dance floor area. They are referred to as a “wash” light, which means they will wash the area in color, not patterns. Patterns can affect your pictures and videos by showing up as dots & shapes on people, but wash lights will not. These lights will blink to the beat of the music and randomly cycle through colors.
